Bella has been VERY fortunate the last two weeks. Her good fortune occurred through the random acts of kindness from strangers and friends. The first was thanks to Kimberly over at Just Frugalicious who hosted a giveaway for Fructis Hair Care items. Bella was fortunate enough to win! All of the items were needed, but also items that Bella normally wouldn't purchase as she could not justify spending the money.
The other act was from The Husbands work colleague, who generously gave him 6 tickets to the Astros. Bella and her husband were able to share these with four other friends. This is such a treat as Bella never, ever budgets for this kind of recreation. They are off tonight, and thanks to the kindness of Grandma, the babysitting is taken care of! On our way to the Chicago Auto Show, I asked DH if we could stop and drop off some donation items at Goodwill and some bags of food donations at the church. When we got to the Auto Show - a man walked up to us and offered us his tickets - he was meeting someone there and they had just called to cancel. I like to think of this as Coupon Karma - every time I do something kind (usually because a coupon affords me the generosity), a kindness is repaid to me!
