Here is a low-cost and fairly easy to prepare recipe. It cost approx $3 per person (assuming like Bella, you only have to run out and buy the meat, seasoning, rice and veggies). If you had to buy everything, it would increase to $5, still cheaper than a restaurant.
-Pulled Pork Taco's & Spanish Fried Rice -
1.8 lbs pork shoulder roast
(the pkt says 3 lbs but I find 1.8lbs is plenty for a family of 4)
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1 onion (roughly chopped)
1 red bell pepper ( finally chopped)
1 pkt McCormick Pulled Pork Seasoning
1 pkt Old El Paso Spanish rice (215g)
