Easter Fun The Budget Friendly Way

Being on a tight budget is hard enough, without trying to incorporate seasonal entertainment for a 3 year old. The local papers are a great resource when it comes to finding the budget friendly action.

Bella was able to find out about an Annual Easter Egg Hunt at a local state park. She spent nothing and her oldest even won a prize - an art kit! It was a great afternoon, over 300 families came and supported the event. There was free popcorn, face painting, a petting zoo and an egg hunt. All the eggs contained little surprises, and some were lucky enough to have slips of paper to trade in for a bigger prize!

Toddler fun does not have to be all about the money, even during the seasonal holidays. A little careful planning goes along way, and often all you have to use is gasoline and your stockpiles for refreshments. From Bella to you ... Happy Easter!
